UI Developer

We are currently looking for a talented UI Developer to join our client’s team in Alpharetta, Georgia!  This is a 3 to 6 Month W2 Contract-to-Hire position. Interview process will include a phone and a F2F interview.
Note: Not open to 3rd party/C2C consultants. This position is only available to those who can work on W2 basis without a sponsored work visa. Visa Sponsorship is not available.
This position will be for a strong technical UI developer, working within a Scrum team.
  1. Implement Software Requirements.
  2. Code, Design and Build AngularJS applications.
  3. Creating and consuming REST, JSON-based APIs.
  4. Experiment with new technologies and innovative ways to solve problems.
  5. Work with product owners, UX and other business partners to define work for the team.
  6. Facilitate code reviews, code quality checks, testing, automation, etc.
What you can bring to the table (must-have, required):
  • Computer Science or similar degree
  • 4+ years of professional experience.
  • AngularJS, React, Backbone or other client-side MVC experience.
  • Experience with JavaScript build tools and dependency management (npm, bower, grunt, gulp).
  • 4+ years of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience.
  • Experience creating Responsive Designs (Bootstrap, mobile, etc.).
  • Experience with unit and automation testing (Jasmine, Protractor, JUnit).
  • Experience with Java 8 and Spring ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of Java build tools and dependency management (gradle, maven).
  • REST API design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL data stores (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, CouchDB).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Comfortable to operate in an Agile, dynamic environment.
Bonus Points (pluses, preferred):
  • Knowledge of web components, ES6 and Typescript.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS).
  • Knowledge of Domain Driven Design concepts and Microservices.
  • Knowledge of virtualization approaches (VMs, Containers, unikernels)
  • Knowledge of event sourcing and distributed message systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
