Ab Initio Developer w/ DQE

Key Responsibilities:
Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.
 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives.
Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.
Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.
Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing.
Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts.
Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.
10+ years of application development and implementation experience.

Job Description: Our client is expanding a program to support data quality tooling options and aggregated reporting with metadata assets. The purpose of this Apps System Engineer position is to deliver standardized services around the Ab Initio DQE (Data Quality Environment) platform.
The resource in this role will be responsible for the technical development and production support of Ab Initio DQE objects and configurations.
This position requires extensive understanding of metadata concepts and hands-on experience with the Ab Initio.
Minimum Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in Data related development on various platforms.
* 5+ years of experience within UNIX platforms including a focus on perl and shell scripting.
* 2+ years of experience working with data quality tools and processes within the Ab Initio toolset including DQE/Express>It or ACE>BRE, Acquire IT, Query IT and BI infrastructure. Preference to candidates with previous banking experience and can demonstrate knowledge of our SDLC, Pac2000, Autosys, EACO Bridge and other internal tools.
* Demonstrated relationship management ability with a medium-sized business unit or multiple, large internal technology groups
* Proven communication skills, both written and verbal.
