KRONOS ADMINISTRATOR
  • This position is primarily responsible for the technical implementation and on-going support of the Kronos Time Management system.
  • This includes system administration, application support, technical support and integration. Coordinate and manage tasks for the implementation of the system. Establishes and communicates standards for the project to the user community.
  • Performs and documents project tasks on a regular basis Adapts project tasks according to the changing needs of the situation Recognizes system problems when they arise and repairs either hardware or software as appropriate. Reports serious problems to the appropriate MIS Staff and documentation the issue and resolution.
  • Maintains log of all system/interface problems encountered.
  • Communicates with all levels of users and assists in Quality Control Interfaces with Department Managers/Timekeepers and Payroll Staff to determine workflow and Union requirements Interfaces with the Database Administrator and Technical personnel to assure coordination of tasks.
  • Develops and maintains MIS and policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety and environmental standards pertaining to that system.
  • Serves as the central contact person to report and follow-up with Kronos vendors on problems encountered while using the system, (this includes maintaining the problem/case log and all hardware and software documentation provided during the installation process). Participates in software installation and patch upgrades.
