We are currently looking for a talented Cisco Security Solutions Engineer, with strong Cisco ISE & ASA experience, to join our client’s team in the Smyrna/Cumberland Mall area!
This Permanent, Direct-Hire opportunity comes with a Competitive Base Salary (D.O.E.) w/ Performance-based Bonus & Benefits. Interview process will include a phone and a F2F interview.

This Sr. Cisco Security Engineer manages security project implementation activities for our customers. The Engineer ensures customer network security implementations are completed on-time and within budget. The Engineer works closely with sales and engineering resources to ensure implemented solutions match the intended solution design and conveys any discrepancies or suggested enhancements to the Solutions Architect prior to final review. The Engineer is responsible for identifying additional network and security related opportunities with our customers. Will also be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and deploying Cisco Security solutions, such as Cisco Identity Service Engineer (ISE) & ASA Firewalls, in multiple environments.  Work breakdown: 25% Pre-sales vs 75% Post-Sales Implementation.  Will be up to 25% local & regional travel – FL is a big market.

What you can bring to the table (must-have, required):
  • Extensive Network Security engineering & implementation experience.
  • Experience in the engineering, implementation, and support of Cisco Security solutions.
  • Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) knowledge & experience, including implementation design, configuration, and deployment.
  • Strong Cisco ASA Firewalls knowledge & experience..
  • Cisco Security Manger knowledge and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with Cisco Network equipment (i.e. Routers, Switches, etc)
  • Experience with Security Protocols (e.g. IPSEC / SSL-VPN / NAT / GRE).
  • Experience with selection, design, implementation and support of enterprise network systems and diagnostic tools.
  • BS in computer Science or equivalent network engineering experience.
  • Relevant Certifications: CCIE, CCNP, CISSP, PCNSE
Bonus Points (pluses, preferred):
  • Experience with Juniper (Netscreen), Checkpoint is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of MPLS VPN architecture, OSPF and BGP protocols and experience of LAN switching technologies.
  • IDS/IPS solutions (Sourcefire/Palo Alto a plus).
  • Malware Prevention (FireEye/Sourcefire/Palo Alto).
