Our client is searching for a Financial Applications Business Analyst within their Enterprise Services & Systems division.
Location:  Newark, NJ  
Hours:  Monday through Friday:  8:00
AM to 4:00 PM EST.

Scope of Work:  
·        The Junior/Intermediate Analyst in Financial Application Support—Business Integration is a team member in the area within Enterprise Services & Systems responsible for business analysis and project management for financial systems interfaces and extracts. 
·        The Business Integration team develops strategies and implements solutions to link our client’s business systems to the corporate financial systems. 
·        In addition to developing a functional financial systems expertise, the Associate will participate in projects that develop their understanding of client’s key domestic businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

·        The Junior/Intermediate Analyst will be responsible for supporting business analysis and project management activities as a member of a project team. 
·        They will learn the methodologies and tools required to assess and document business requirements, write functional specifications for systems development, and design and conduct testing of the technical solutions.
·        The key project the Junior/Intermediate Analyst will expect to support involves Actuarial systems process and run automation for our client’s Annuities businesses. 
·        Experience with process and Actuarial system automation a plus.  


·        The ideal candidate would have strong written and oral communication skills, well-developed analytic reasoning and curiosity, and an established track record working in a team-based environment. 
·        The candidate should have experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and Visual Basic.

·        1-4 years’ experience in a business and/or systems analyst role
·        College degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance preferred but not required – other analytics-oriented majors are acceptable
·        Excellent analytical, critical thinking and project skills
·        Ability to work with ambiguity, solve problems, and communicate root causes
·        Knows priorities, recognizes deadlines, and accepts/responds to changes within their own area of responsibility
·        Proficiency in SQL/VBA programming

Other Comments:
·        Experience with Insurance Industry and/or Actuarial systems and processes is a plus
