What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment? 1000004848 - OFE project

These resources will support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow FedRAMP environment which needs to be setup to support OFE. Government restrictions require that these be US Citizens. We would like to bring in as Contract to Hire as permanent resources are difficult to source locally.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: 2 - 3 years supporting ServiceNow as an application.

TOP REQUIREMENTS: ServiceNow Admin, Troubleshooting/Root Cause Analysis skills, Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

What are the top responsibilities for this position?
• Responsible for core system configuration, gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements and workflow customizations
• Provide Level 2 support on ServiceNow platform for our employees
• Ability to dissect incidents as they relate to the ServiceNow platform to quickly triage
• Work with development team to migrate updates into the production environment
• Well versed with Discovery, Mid servers and data models for discovery
• Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application
• Leverage your experience with the platform to devise solutions to address incidents and challenges
• Collaborate with team members to look for ways to continuously improve our enterprise platform related processes (i.e. Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, etc.)
• Ensure and maintain the integrity of the CMDB data
• Collaborate and partner with other areas of IT to fulfill business/customer/partner needs & requests
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant ITSM practices and technologies
• Participate in continuous process improvement in all areas of ITSM

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

• ServiceNow
• 3+ years of experience with ITIL oriented processes
• 2+ year experience with ServiceNow related technologies, especially JavaScript and Jelly

What skills/attributes are a must have?

• Troubleshooting/Root Cause Analysis skills
• Experience in ServiceNow
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

What skills/attributes are nice to have?

• ITIL v3 certification a plus
• 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow Discovery
• ServiceNow Administration certification strongly desired
• ServiceNow Developer certification strongly desired
