Will work within the Project Management Office (PMO) and act as an internal consultant between Information Technology and key business stakeholders on the development and implementation of business solutions and process improvements.

•Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of current systems, processes and procedures and develop improvement action strategies and plans.
•Work with business partners and Information Technology team to define, document, and review business and system requirements to support cross-functional business needs.
•Perform cost/benefit analysis, determine ROI/NPV targets and establish acceptance criteria to ensure proposed solutions meet or exceed customer expectations.
•Translate business and user requirements into functional specifications.
•Assist in formulating and defining project scope and objectives. Participate in the preparation of estimates and detailed project schedules.
•Assist in or take overall responsibility for the creation and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure quality parameters are achieved.
•Track and communicate project risks, issues, status and progress as needed to support Project Managers. May act as project Manager for smaller initiatives.
•Adhere to, support and promote project management methodology and PMO standard guidelines.
•Contribute to the development and refinement of PMO practices, standards and templates.

•Highly effective in facilitating business requirements gathering sessions with business partners and key technical resources. Strong understanding of Business Process Flows is critical.
•Must be an expert on requirement gathering techniques such as "Use Cases", Prototyping, JAD, and conducting interviews.
•Must have performed gap-analysis and have demonstrated abilities to develop AS-Is and TO-BE Models.
•Strong business acumen and proven ability to document and analyze business problems/needs using a variety of Industry Standard/Best Practices and techniques.
•A critical thinker who is creative, detail orientated and committed to quality.
•Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management with tact and professionalism.
•Adaptive and open to frequent changes in work environment and prioritization.
•Able to manage multiple competing deadlines.
•Efficiently able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ideal Candate (possess all of the above and...)
•3 or more years of experience in Healthcare domain
•Consulting experience preferred.
•BSA, PMP, IT Service Management, and other training and certificates preferred.
•Experience with SDLC (Knowledgeable in methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, RUP, etc.)
•Candidates with experience working within a PMO environment having advanced knowledge of PMI PMBOK are highly desired.
•Enhanced knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and practices preferred.

•Bachelor degree in applicable area (e.g. Business Administration, Health Administration, Computer Science). Graduate Degree in preferred.
•7 + years of recent Business Analyst experience including gathering and documenting project requirements/specifications.
•Advanced expertise in MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio
