A technical resource in a complex technical or professional disipline, seen as a leader in that field within the organization. Supports customers, configures and enhances PeopleSoft HCM applications. Understands the work processes of assigned business areas. Collect user requirements and translates them into well-engineered, tested and deployed business application solutions. Responsibilities include the analysis, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information. Works independently with limited direction. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

Strong Technical knowledge of People Tools 8.55+ including IB web services, application packages, AWE, fluid user interface (UI), work centers, activity guides, pivot grids and oracle SQL. 
Experience with migration tools, analyzing and retrofitting PUM images. Strong functional understanding of HCM 9.2 modules including Core HR, NA Payroll, BenAdmin, Client, ESS.
Unix Scripting, JavaScript, CSS, HTML experience preferred but not required. 
Typically requires 7+ years of experience and a BA/BS degree of equivalent.

2. Works closely with customers, business analyst, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
3. Aligns business and IT stategies and complies with MCIT's architectural standards
4. Particaipates in the full systems life cycle and is responsibile for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and/or supporting application software.
5. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code
6. Participates in systems analysis and design using development, quality assurance and integration methodologies
7. Mentors less-experienced staff with responsibility for their technical development
8. Leads design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and designs and offering and incorporating ideas
9. Design projects with broad implications, requiring systems integration of one or more technical platforms
10. Commits to deliverables, slect tools and methodologies for projects
11. Contributes to strategic planning, including proposed cost implications
