The successful candidate will be a key part of the team responsible for driving the digital transformation of existing processes, products and services and also developing new digital revenue streams for the company. In particular, this role will involve:
  • Bringing deep technical subject matter and business expertise in B2B and B2C platforms i.e., SAP, Salesforce, Four51, Oracle, Magento
  • Working closely with customers, front line staff, senior executive / divisional business and engineering leaders to identify and prioritize sales and internal business processes / services which would yield significant business value if they were to be digitally transformed.
  • Creating, owning and "selling” the business case for digitizing the proposed business processes / services and securing stakeholder buy-in.
  • Working closely with the digital development team the on the strategy and road map for delivering those selected sales and internal business processes / services.
  • Help drive the joint business / delivery team to deliver digital transformation projects using an Agile approach to define and prioritize key features from the product backlog
  • Engaging with the relevant business, commercial and marketing teams within the business to create and deliver the go-to-market strategy.
Objectives & Measurement
Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:
Responsible for driving the adoption of digital technologies across the business by building strong and lasting relationships with senior executive / divisional business and engineering leaders. Owns and delivers specific internal digital business product solutions that are designed with re-use in mind and are not just "one off” point solutions. Responsible for utilizing the digital platform and delivering a "wow” UI/UX experience to digital consumers across all business touch points. Ideal candidates will have a track record in the digital transformation of legacy processes, products, and services, as well as developing new solutions and accompanying business models.
  • Understand the business requirements, the current solutions across the divisions and then drive alignment and adoption of new digital capabilities based on a common platform across the business.
  • Develop strong relationships with leaders across the organization and be viewed as a strategic business partner in terms of the Digital Transformation process.
  • Build strong relationships with the Senior Divisional Business and Engineering Leaders, IT and the Digital Development team; aligning and influencing decisions regarding: products, shared technologies, and project deliveries.
  • Be a key member of the global digital team that is designing, developing and delivering the technical vision.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and pain points, working with and influencing global teams and where necessary, realigning Product deliverables using iterative approaches. A strong technical understanding will be necessary to support key decisions regarding common platform and solutions. 
  • Lead joint business / technology teams to deliver Agile projects that digitally transform sales and internal business processes / services to yield significant business value across the organization.
  • Advocate for digital initiatives across the company while seeking input and feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Champion and facilitate stakeholder communication across the organization
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of digital innovation and product management approaches looking for innovative new technologies and processes to test. Monitor and report back on impactful market developments, emerging technologies and relevant start-ups.
  • Lead by example and encourage innovation and collaboration across teams, geographies and divisions.
  • Be a constant source of inspiration with new, bold ideas that push the limits of what we can do. Practice and encourage open collaboration across the company.
Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business is a must.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on technically capable, customer-first business leader that understands edge-to- cloud software platform architectures, APIs, and big data & analytics. Ideally, this leader will have a track record in the digital transformation of legacy processes, products, and services, as well as in developing new solutions and accompanying business models. S/he will enjoy a reputation for developing meaningful partner relationships and is highly collaborative with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.

In order to drive alignment and adoption of new digital capabilities based on a common platform, s/he must foster strong relationships with leaders across the organization and be viewed as a strategic business partner. Recognizing and developing talent is key, as this leader will continually be forming and leading joint business / technology teams to deliver digital transformation projects.
Work Environment:
