SCOPE OF SERVICES
Description of Assignment (Project): This position will be assigned to the Webmaster team within the Applications Development Section of the Information Technology Bureau. The technical staff person will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the inter/intranet sites of the OAG. This includes web application development and interacting with the operations and database teams. The candidate will provide technical expertise, training and knowledge transfer in verbal and written form. The candidate will lead an effort to modernize our existing dated infrastructure and web applications to our standardized Drupal 8 platform.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Travel may be required and will only be minimal (infrequent) travel.
Mandatory Skill/Expertise
6 years' experience in PHP programming
6 years' experience working on large and medium sized projects
6 years' experience in web and application server management, specifically Apache and Tomcat6
6 years' experience in the development and design of Drupal 7
2 years' experience in the development and design of Drupal 8
6 years' experience in web design, usability, and user experience
6 years' experience website security, analytics and performance testing
6 years' experience in web development using cascading CSS, JavaScript, and HTML

Desirable Skill/Expertise
Experience with Graphic Design and Graphic Editing
Experience with Drupal utilities such as Drush, Git and Sass
Experience in designing, developing and maintaining Information Architecture
Experience working with Web Accessibility Standards (508 compliance)
Exemplary customer service skills
Ability to work independently, with limited direct supervision
