Quality Reviewer (RN/LMSW/CRC) NYC
Position Summary: Perform in a quality, professional role for: on-site surveys, record reviews, data collection and recording, education and training for internal and external customers of the program
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform as a leader during record reviews/audits and site surveys
  • Perform as a highly motivated review team member during audit and educational activities
  • Assist in developing audit tools and other materials
  • Demonstrate effective oral presentation and writing skills to prepare clear, concise, and accurate verbal and written reports
  • Execute daily activities – complete auditing workflows and assigned tasks
  • Assist in all aspects of Data Management to include, but not limited to, data & trend analysis,
  • Tracking & reporting, and review projects
  • Assist in the orientation of new staff and ongoing training of Team staff and external customers
  • Assist with site visit schedule and activities for visits and reports
  • Continuously work to create an environment of teamwork toward common goals, mutual support and respect
  • Collaborate as a member of a team with all review activities
  • Maintain current and up to date knowledge base in Vocational Rehab Services and related topics for active licensure
  • At least two (2) years prior experience as an RN, CRC, or LMSW/LCSW
  • Current and active certification/licensure as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Registered Nurse (RN), or Master's in Social Work – LMSW/LCSW, in good standing in New York State
  • One (1) to two (2) years performing medical record audits and/or site surveys
  • Detail oriented with highly organized work skills
  • Demonstrate logical reasoning and critical thinking skills
  • Advanced level computer skills and knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office Products to include Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and other database management software)
  • Valid NYS Driver's License & ability to drive a vehicle in NYS or use public transportation to attend site surveys
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective listening skills
  • Three (3) to four (4) years of progressive experience in nursing, vocational/rehabilitation counseling, behavioral/mental health services, or quality related organization strongly preferred
  • Demonstrate initiative and perform as a motivated self-starter
  • Demonstrate a mature, professional, and respectful demeanor and style
  • Bilingual communication skills desired; Spanish a plus
  • Commitment to continuously provide quality services to all customers
Working Conditions: Full time (M-F) Office and Community Business Settings; Travel Required
