Informatica MDM Development Lead / Admin

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, modify, or update applications used by business units or infrastructure units. Lead, or play lead technical role in development teams efforts to determine unit needs and business processes that are automated by the application. Assess high level design issues relating to platform, enterprise software, and interactions with other systems.
  • Provide design leadership in large or complex development projects involving application development, migrations, and additions to existing applications. Participate in project meetings with other technical staff and business owners and subject matter experts.
  • Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements.
  • Review application in progress of development to ensure compliance with overall design parameters and corporate development standards. Guide programmers/developers on technical issues.
  • Develop or review development of test protocols for testing application before user acceptance. Review test results and direct further development.
  • May serve as technical lead, architect, and project lead or principle developer in course of large or complex project.
  • May provide, or guide provision of technical support to applications currently in production
  • May mentor or guide work of less experienced programming and development staff.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Experienced in Informatica MDM Development including a strong understanding of MDM, ETL and BI Architectures. Expertise should include requirement analysis, application design, development, automation testing, integration and support of business applications in various stages of the software development life cycle.
  • MDM development may include MDM Admin duties (such as security or promoting code to production), production support and projects. The candidate may work in various roles such as MDM/ETL/BI Developer and Data Modeler demonstrating a strong understanding of many business processes and technical fields. Other skills beneficial to the role:
  • Provided Informatica MDM Admin support the organization during submission cycles. This includes working with MDM users and approvers to resolve MDM issues in the IDD.
  • Designed/architected and implement end-to-end Informatica MDM solutions using the following development tools
  • Informatica MDM Hub
  • Informatica Data Director (IDD)
  • Informatica IDQ
  • Informatica PowerCenter
  • SAP Power Designer (process flow designing)
  • Designed and implement Business Process workflows using BPM technologies tied to MDM solutions
  • Informatica BPM (Active VOS)
  • Informatica SIF (SDK) API's
  • Messaging triggers and queues
  • Strong data analyst experience
  • Performed development with following languages: SQL and PL/SQL, Java, UNIX, TOAD
  • Familiar with ETL mappings, User Exits, Match rules etc.
  • Experience with design and/or understand complex data models
  • Minimum 8+ years Informatica experience
  • Experience leading, mentoring and managing offshore teams
  • MDM Admin Experience (security composites, IDD, promoting code)
  • At ease communicating with accounting users and leaders at all levels.
  • Informatica IDD experience, the MDM users perform maintenance and workflow for cost center and financial hierarchies in the IDD.
  • Workflow experience and custom user exits (Java programming)
  • Bulk Upload processing from excel template
  • Strong solutions design and development expertise, knowledge of computer systems and tool capabilities (and limitations), understanding of enterprise data warehousing concepts and patterns and sound business knowledge in order to meet the needs of client(s).
  • Experience working in complex Informatica and similar environments performing systems (i.e.: system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements
