Agile Scrum Master - Plano, TX
  1. The Agile Scrum Master will work with Scrum team members to ensure successful delivery of multiple concurrent high profile Agile projects.
  2. Ensuring the Scrum process properly followed and identifying opportunities to facilitate productivity within the Scrum team.
  3. Work within the core delivery team empowered/tasked with design, development, modification, and implementation of computer applications, and building high performing delivery teams.
  4. Serve as Scrum Master for a software development team.
  1. Utilize project coordination expertise and tools such as Rally and MS-Project to support upstream and downstream teams throughout SDLC.
  2. Engage stakeholders, contributors and technical resources to analyze user needs and resource limitations.
  3. Facilitate the discussions of complex, high value IT delivery projects that require the coordination of development work or technology work on multiple platforms to achieve desired functionality.
  4. Serve as knowledge source within project teams as assigned.
  5. Communicate committed stories for the upcoming sprint to backlog owners and stakeholders
  6. Represent the team daily at the Scrum of Scrums (S2) meeting to report impediments for escalation.
  7. Facilitate scrum ceremonies for the team (S1, Planning, Retrospective, Grooming and Review/Demo).
  8. Facilitate impediment resolution in a timely, cost effective manner.
  9. Track and produce key metrics (e.g., burn-down, burn-up charts)
  10. Act as a conduit to other teams and LOBs with which the team is interacting.
Primary Skills :
Served as full-time Scrum Master on at least 5 different teams for a total of at least a year, preferably in a variety of situations such as multiple organizations or different kinds of products.
- Initiated and was Scrum Master for at least the first 3 iterations for at least two of those teams.
- Strong understanding of Scrum Practices and roles
- Has provided classroom or workshop style training to beginners
- Has good facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills
