Job Description :
Client is seeking a technically strong individual to work with a team of other networking engineers.
This role will be focused on delivery and support of networking solutions for client (remote) and data center solutions utilizing Cisco networking solutions.
The successful candidate will be expected to interact with team leadership, peers and other IT departments to gain an understanding of the business process lifecycle. The primary responsibility of the Senior Network Engineer is to ensure deployment of standard LAN, WAN and Load Balancing architectures to support application build and deployments for tiered applications from Development to Production environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with project teams and project management to implement standard network IP, DNS and load balancing solutions supporting application rollouts.
Participates as a SME on various application and technical projects
Leads small to medium complexity technical projects
Tracks, monitors, and reports progress of project plan components.
Designs technical solutions to meet established standards for deployment
Completes technical documentation of deployed solutions
Assists in the definition of configuration guidelines for software and hardware
Develops test plans and participates solution testing
Participates in the development of design documentation
Ensures problems are tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner
Identifies and implements opportunities to reduce problems and optimize support
Provides level 2/3 problem resolution support Delivery Responsibilities Network Documentation
All changes in environment are documented effectively and reflected properly in configurations and networking toolsets Consistent Delivery of Results
Demonstrated track record for delivering results and consistency SUPERVISION (do they supervise anyone, if so list titles)
Primary Skills :
Demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written in order to effectively interact with Management and other IT Area associates.
Competency in the technologies used within IT Area either within industry or U.S Foods including:
o WAN Technologies: BGP, EIGRP Routing,
o Knowledge of Load Balancer concepts/implementation: F5, Cisco ACE, Cisco CSS
o VoIP Technologies: DSCP, DHCP
o LAN Technologies: Nexus switching, Port Channeling, STP, VLAN concepts
o VPN Technologies
o WLAN Technologies: Cisco Wireless Controllers and CAPWAP AP?s
o Network troubleshooting skills - Cisco TAC support, Packet sniffer concepts,
o Technical Documentation
