Acts as strategic business partner to leadership on all Talent Acquisition related issues and serves as lead on daily talent acquisition department operations.
Proactively engages the leadership teams to establish a common understanding of Talent Acquisition processes, outcomes and service standards.
Serves as a consultant with leadership in the development of effective Talent Management, on-boarding and new hire retention strategies.
Develops and implements strategic initiatives to ensure appropriate Talent/workforce resources across Grady Health System and develops workforce strategies to meet specific recruitment needs.
Serves as the operational lead on department daily activities to include initial background check reviews, office management for On-Boarding Center, Georgia Hall 2nd Floor and/or Nurse Recruitment offices, dotted line responsibility for talent acquisition assistants and/or coordinators. Ensures and monitors the effective implementation of Talent Acquisition processes in accordance with policies, practices and regulatory requirements.
Utilizes operational analysis, trending, benchmarking and research to support leadership and managers in the effective projections for staffing/personnel needs and develops ads and other marketing strategies to support those needs.
Provides operational oversight where appropriate to ensure compliance with established practices, policies, and procedures.
Develops and executes offer strategies with Compensation Department to ensure efficient and consistent implementation of compensation practices.
Serves as the lead in career events, conferences and community job fairs on behalf of Grady Health System and spearheads recruiting events.
Consults with hiring managers to understand business requirements and functions in the department in need of establishing or enhancing pipeline of candidates, including senior level positions.
Generates a flow of appropriate resumes/candidates, profiles/pre-qualifies, interviews and follows up with hiring leader as appropriate on potential fit of those candidates who meet the job requirements and preferences.
Generates leads via web, research lists, referrals, job fairs and databases, displaying proficiency in appropriate recruitment tools.
Promotes, supports and serves as a role model for the core values of Grady Health System within the Talent Acquisition department.
