Job description

Job Responsibilities:
Act as liaison with the business and other IT groups to coordinate the delivery of information technology solutions to meet business needs.
Understands the nature of the proposed business process change and will compose user stories outlining the necessary modifications to the business applications.
Provides functional process analysis, requirements, QA testing, and documentation of new and existing business applications and processes.
Has a solid understanding of the business as well as knowledge and understanding of how to work with other IT groups to accomplish goals
Act as IT Business Analyst for data warehouse assignments. Areas of focus include:

Data Analysis & Profiling
Standard Business Reporting
Data Visualization
Data Mapping
System Interfaces

Provide application, process, and end user support as required.
Prepare and maintain project related documents and tools, such as, project scope, requirement user stories and testing scripts.
Insure that business group needs are being met and that assignments are delivered on time through product demos and status meetings.
Conducts training for business users on new information technology solutions as required.
Interacts with internal and external customers to better understand capabilities related to project work.
Participates in the overall process improvement of functional areas within and across applications.
Participate in peer reviews of other business analysis personnel work.

Required Skills:
Experience performing business systems analyst functions, to include: project definition, analysis of requirements, systems design, testing and user training. Minimum of 4 to 6 years experience required.
Proven ability to gather customer requirements and translate into IT functional specifications.
Effective analysis and problem solving skills.
Practical experience with agile methodology.
Experience with tools to manage IT requests, change management, and project management processes.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with business and technical liaisons.
Excellent team/collaborative skills, proven ability to work on scrum teams.
Excellent organization and planning skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks.
SQL & R or Python
Data analysis and Data Mining expertise
Experience with SAP Business Objects Stack; WebI, Lumira, Design Studio, etc.
Required Experience/Education:

College degree, preferably in Information Technology or Business Administration.
Recognized expert in one or more areas of the business
