Senior Manager, Inbound Operations

Responsibilities:
  • As the Senior Manager of Inbound Operations, you will be responsible for the US & Mexico inbound logistics network. This includes managing +$200M in spend and delivering over 125,000 component SKU's from 1,300 global supplier locations on time and on budget.
  • The inbound logistics network supports 14 manufacturing locations and 3 service centers through a logistics network consisting of 4 cross-docks, 7 warehouses and a complex carrier base consisting of air, ocean, truck load, LTL, small pack, and inter-modal service providers as well as three dedicated fleet operations.
  • In this role, today you might be meeting with our lead logistics provider to review performance and major project updates.
  • Tomorrow, you could be at one of our manufacturing locations meeting with the onsite materials team. You could also be presenting a financial review to our GSS counterparts. Or you could be working closely with our international logistics team to develop a plan to roll out a cross functional project.
  • This role is highly cross functional in nature and will take you to all the plants in North America.

What You Will Do
  • Work with your team, cross functional partners and service providers to deliver break through results in both service levels and cost. This includes driving continuous improvement initiatives, P4G targets and financial controls (50%)
  • Develop your team through active coaching, reward, recognition, mentoring and growth & development plans (30%)
  • Lead and support strategic material management projects such as the supplier management program development and implementation of the vendor management inventory (VMI) program (20%)

Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and desire to lead cross functional teams
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Experience managing strategic partnerships and supplier relationships
  • Manufacturing, logistics, or procurement background
  • Strong communication skills to all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic initiatives
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree (business or related)
  • Minimum Work Experience: 5-10 years
