UX Strategy Lead profile

(the digital agency for Cognizant Technology Solutions) is looking for User Experience (UX) Strategy Leads to drive the vision and strategy for the digital experiences that we create for our top-tier global clients. As the primary user research and design point of contact for our clients, the UX Lead must present to executive-level stakeholders and facilitate communication between team members while managing resources and timelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and promote the experience vision, creative strategy, and roadmap to express our clients' digital channels and brand.
  • Contribute to and promote user experience practice throughout Cognizant and our clients, refining methods and setting standards for roles, responsibilities, engagement model and processes.
  • Lead project-level experience design strategy, managing teams to develop user experience deliverables.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops, and heuristic assessment and competitive review of clients' existing digital properties for current state assessment.
  • Research target audiences' goals and tasksthrough primary and secondary research, and translate them into personas and customer journey maps.
  • Collaborate with broader digital strategy team, business stakeholders and subject matter experts to brainstorm and validate experience design concepts.
  • Ensure that information architecture, visual design and copy work together to create an experience that resonates with users and clients.
  • Define and lead the approach and utilization of prototyping, concept testing, and usability testing to ensure an effective and satisfying experience for our clients' customers.
  • Provide experience design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment across platforms and channels.
  • Present deliverables to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Lead capabilities presentations and large pitches to prospective clients.
  • Keep up to date with digital experience trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Contribute to and promote user experience practice throughout Cognizant and our clients, developing thought leadership, and refining methods and setting standards for roles, responsibilities, engagement model and processes.

Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience with consulting and/or agencies
  • Experience with ecommerce & marketing
  • Relevant UX education or past experience
  • Experience leading global teams to deliver creative and complex projects on time and on budget
  • Comfortable communicating and presenting to executives, and excellent visual and verbal storytelling
  • Core UX methodologies such as user interface design, responsive design, wire framing, contextual inquiry, qualitative and quantitative research methods, usability testing, clickable prototypes
  • Past experience successfully pitching to clients
