We have an immediate opportunity for an Accountant to support the Controller and Plant Manager in our division's main office in Chalfont, PA.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline
  • Prior inventory and bill experience required
  • Knowledge of ERP systems required
  • Prior manufacturing / material handling work environment experience required
  • Understanding of Cost Accounting, preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and work with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in computer and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Manages project labor and administration of the Labor Track system
  • Reviews Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory throughout the year
  • Performs E&O calculations at year end
  • Manages the annual physical count of inventory
  • Ensures compliance with and maintains Sarbanes Oxley records
  • Assists with expediting materials for customer orders
  • Assists in the resolution of payable discrepancies within the Accounts Payable system and collections
  • Acts as a liaison between Accounting, Purchasing and the Corporate Service Center
  • Tracks employee time worked in other countries and compliance with international taxes
