Infrastructure Services Senior Manager

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Sr Manager, Infrastructure Services opening to join our Information Technology organization.

Day to Day:
Reporting to the Director, Infrastructure Services, the selected candidate will have accountability for Computing / Network Infrastructure Design and Build services.

This role will lead a team of Analysts, and Global Outsourcing Providers, ensuring we deliver our services with the expected quality, cost and satisfaction. They will also develop the future infrastructure subject matter experts and leaders. The candidate will be expected to develop and deliver action plans, policies, proactive maintenance routines and support the restoration of outages.

The right candidate will:
  • Establish and maintain value based relationships with peers, customers, regional teams, direct reports and Global Outsourcing providers to achieve common goals and improvements
  • Ensure areas of responsibility are integrating IOS Processes with IOS Strategy roadmap
  • Communicate to leadership consistent program/strategy messages, plans and directions

What you will do:
  • Develop, implement and oversee strategic, comprehensive computing / networking infrastructure architecture to maximize investments in line with stated business goals and objectives
  • Help manage the enterprise's global infrastructure organization, consisting of direct reports and indirect reports (such as individuals in managed or outsourced services). This includes hiring, training, staff development, performance management, compensation oversight and annual performance reviews
  • Coordinate the use of external resources involved in the global infrastructure services and processes, including, but not limited to, interviewing, negotiating contracts and fees, and managing external resources and services.
  • Develop, maintain and publish up-to-date global infrastructure policies, standards and guidelines. Oversee the approval, training, and dissemination of infrastructure policies and practices
  • Develop and manage infrastructure budgets, and monitor them for variances
  • Work directly with the business units to facilitate appropriate infrastructure solutions, and work with stakeholders throughout the enterprise on identifying business needs and requirements
  • Define SLA's and provide regular metrics and reporting on the current status of the infrastructure services to senior business leaders and IT customers
  • Document and manage an ITIL based control framework to ensure appropriate controls and ensure the integrity and reliability of key business systems and services
  • Manage infrastructure incidents to minimize business impact and protect corporate IT assets, including intellectual property, regulated data and the company's reputation
  • Monitor emerging technologies, seek opportunities to leverage benefits they may offer the business in developing future infrastructure strategy and architecture
  • Understand and interact with related disciplines through committees to ensure the consistent application of global infrastructure policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services
  • Be up to date in modern technologies, such as Cloud Computing, proposing and implementing action plans to improve our services and costs using them
  • Develop and Evaluate alternative scenarios, providing recommendations based on risk, quality, scope and cost
  • Create and maintain services in a business consumable fashion, through the use of Service Catalogues
  • Work cross-functionality and across technology disciplines
  • Perform related duties and fulfill responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
What you Need to Succeed:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and 10+ years of satisfactory full-time (not classroom based) experience
  • Have a technical background and be able to understand Information Technology, Infrastructure, Project Management Methodologies, Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery and strong analytical skills
  • IT Industry certifications desired (ITIL, Project Management)
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines; handle multiple tasks
