Business Analyst and Interface Consultant

The candidate is an important contributor to the Client Advanced Marketing Solution (AMS) in the area of Logix and Loyalty Engine Interface consulting. This person will work with retailers across multiple industries (Grocery, Convenience and Specialty) to implement interfaces from Point of Sale Terminals and Host applications to our AMS Loyalty applications. The person will be expected to know our interface specifications, both incoming and outgoing messages, and be able to consult with the Retailer teams to understand different ways to implement required functionality.

Responsibilities include:

BA/Interface Consultant role will be responsible for:
  • Learning the current AMS Interface specifications for both the Logix Host applications and the In Store Loyalty Engines.
  • Consulting with Retailers on the details of the interface specifications, training them on the value and meaning of each message and field within a message, and ensuring that their implementation meets our specification guidelines.
  • Consulting the Retailers on the installation, options, configuration settings and targeted architecture of their system to ensure that AMS is set up properly based on their intended usage.
  • Consult with the Retailers on Failover/Redundancy of the AMS solution within their store environment.
  • Working as a Business Analyst to capture the Retailers requirements and comparing those requirements against existing AMS functionality to determine gap items.
  • Consulting with the Retailer on possible work around's or new high level design options to meet gap needs.
  • Work with internal Client development teams to transfer knowledge learned from the BA activities into new feature development.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 + years of Retail or related Consulting experience
  • Experience with Hosted and/or SaaS Solution configuration, creation and maintenance practices preferred
  • Experience creating and leading group presentations, hosting web seminars and public speaking
