Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a SAP Security Manager opening to join our Identity & Access Management organization.

Day to Day

Today, you might be in charge of the policies and processes for SAP security, including user administration, role management and access provisioning. Tomorrow, you'll be asked to review and improve the current standards in order to reduce redundancy, promote agility and leverage efficiency globally. Additionally, you might lead, mentor and train individuals and organizations on effective SAP identity and access management practices.

What You Will Do
  • Define, standardize and govern all SAP identity and access management related policies, processes, procedures, workflows, tools and controls in accordance with best practices, experience, and business needs.
  • Manage the workload of the SAP security teams for project and maintenance of all SAP systems, including but not limited to SAP ECC, R/3, BI, SCM, CRM, Portal, PI, PO, Solution Manager, Fiori, etc., in accordance with SAP best practices and Whirlpool's policies and procedures.
  • Build relationship processes with other IT departments and organizations to understand requirements, trends and strategy in order to support business projects regardless complexity and scope.
  • Design and maintain security roles across all SAP landscapes globally to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place and to achieve target SLAs, audit compliance, and defined performance metrics.
  • Regularly interact with management, internal and external partners to increase the security posture at a corporate level to ensure the management of user accounts is accurate, effective and meets audit requirements under SOX compliance.
  • Ensure that changes to roles and system are tested, approved and completed according to Whirlpool's standards.
Qualifications:
What You Need to Succeed
  • Solid understanding of business processes and integration points, policies and procedures.
  • Appropriate level of education defined as Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.
  • 7 to 8 years of experience in integrated SAP security configuration.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in managing and leading people, process and governance with SAP security components; organizational unit based structural authorizations; and security requirements for ABAP programs, BAPIs, and BADIs.
  • Identity and access management strategy and testing plans must be a core competency.
  • The candidate must be able to lead and manage cross-functional teams, especially technical-functional integration types, with minimal supervision.
  • The candidate must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external project team members and understand the integration points of the SAP landscape and a wide range of interface applications.
