POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinates ISO auditing activities to assure that all Company departments comply with the ISO 9001:2015 requirements as well as and other ISO/Quality Management activities as required. This is a 6 month contract.
Essential Job Functions

• 6 month contractor as an ISO auditor

• Perform functions as an ISO 9001:2008 auditor to the new 2015 standard (certification to the new standard preferred)

• Develop, publish, and execute the internal ISO auditing schedule of our departments for compliance to procedures and work instructions

• Plans, schedules, and reviews the results of internal audits to assure that appropriate actions are taken and effective. Tracks results through CATSWeb®.

• Analyzes process nonconformities to assure that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented and effective.

• Work with the ISO Manager to schedule and coordinate activities with the ISO Registrar. Develop agenda and coordinate corrective actions for findings.

• Initiates, recommends, or provides solutions to ISO related problems

• Reviews related documents to assure suitability and compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

• Perform other process and audit activities as required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Requires a high school education.

Four (4) years of college training in business, engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education.

Certification as a Lead ISO Auditor

Requires a minimum of five (5) years experience in quality assurance or management, which requires performance in compliance with quality assurance standards.

Skills:

Broad, general knowledge of quality systems, and business operations.
Considerable degree of tact and diplomatic skills in order to interface effectively with all levels of personnel within the Company.

High degree of original and independent thinking in new and often undefined areas.

Mature judgment and the ability to make sound business decisions based upon the relevant facts.

Resourcefulness required directing major quality related activities and programs.

Strong team leadership skills

Knowledge of personal computers, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database systems.
