Sr. Procurement Sourcing Manager-1

The Sr Procurement Sourcing Manager will be responsible for optimizing processes and systems necessary for efficient and effective sourcing and purchase to pay processes. The role will involve oversight of the implementation, rollout and on-going management of the departments purchasing systems. The position will also be responsible to stay abreast of the latest trends in purchasing to ensure we are updating processes and technology in order to continue moving our organization towards excellent status. This role is responsible for setting the strategy and building a robust supplier diversity program. Develop tools and processes that facilitate the identification, utilization and development of diverse suppliers that can provide value to Client. The position is also accountable for leveraging the program, including building support from internal constituencies and responding to client RFPs. Additionally, the position will function as the company's Small Business Liaison Officer to manage and direct our government small business-subcontracting plan. Develop and formalize the company's supplier risk-mitigation program. Responsible for establishing and documenting processes, policies and procedures to identify and mitigate risks to the organization or business units that may result from our supplier relationships.
  • Represent purchasing on the Core Business Transformation team to implement the purchase to pay systems
  • Continually evaluate purchasing systems (eSourcing, contract management, supplier registration, spend reporting, etc.) for optimization, adequacy, and utilization
  • Leverage procurement associations (ISM, Hackett Group, etc.) to ensure Client is staying on the leading edge of new ideas and technology
  • Work with the department PMO to ensure policies & procedures and work instructions are current and for all areas as technology changes
  • Work with the department PMO to develop and deploy communications to the organization as processes and systems change
  • Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal certification
  • Five to eight years of experience
  • Paralegal certification preferred
  • Microsoft Office, contracts management system, e-procurement systems experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, ability to multi-task
