Oracle EBS Data Architect

POSITION SUMMARY

Oracle EBS Data Architect has responsibility for all aspects of Client' Oracle EBS application, including delivery of secure and reliable capabilities. This role will work closely with the EBS project delivery team, but also consult with the EBS production support staff. As the technical leader, this person will need to apply Oracle EBS subject matter expertise across the offerings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop and maintain Oracle e-Business Suite application, OBI/ OBIEE, BI Analytics
• Deep knowledge of Financial, Procurement, IMS/WMS, MSCA, ASCP and Demantra modules.
• Demonstrated experience in Oracle database administration, RAC with ASM, performance tuning, backup/recovery, High Availability & DR strategies.
• Knowledge about appliance technology like Exadata
• An extensive understanding of OAM Access Gates and Oracle EBS authentication
• Evaluate new and emerging security technologies, features, and products
• Review and advise on security and functional patching to ensure system hardening
• Recommend application security practices to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
• Partner with Information Risk Management on incident response and vulnerability remediation efforts
• Provide in-depth technical consultation to business partners and IT management/development to ensure development of efficient application systems utilizing established standards, procedures and methodologies
• Engage in production support research and resolution recommendations, as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Data Archiving and Monitoring.
• Knowledge of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
• Experience with system, security, and network monitoring tools
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
• Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
• Excellent communication skills, including presentations and negotiations
• Familiarity with health care or PBM industry very helpful
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines and travel requirements
