Administrative Assistant I
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support Siemens PTI Power System Consulting department and staff as identified. The role will be proactive in identifying areas of support that are applicable to their team s needs.
The Administrative Assistant must effectively and successfully responds to unique situations and priority issues. This position will demonstrate a high level of customer service, professionalism, and confidentiality in all communications. They will be tasked with establishing and maintaining effective and professional, yet cooperative, relationships with all levels of management, employees and outside stakeholders. Proactively participates in knowledge sharing activities, continuously develop and communicates best practices within formal and informal networks.
The Administrative Assistant will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong collaborative skills are necessary, as well as ability to multi task and prioritize within a fast paces environment. This role will need to utilize proficient computer skills to manage their daily operations.
Screen and prioritize incoming internal and external inquires
Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, and problem solving, making adjustments to plans.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position providing administrative or clerical support
Advance PC proficiency in software applications to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Instant Messaging. Experience with MS Project and SAP preferred.
Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.

Create solid working relationships with other admin staff inside and outside Siemens
Work professionally with senior executive s ad clients, think and work independently, be proactive, handle confidential information and work effectively and efficiently
Prepare, compose, and edits complex memos, documents and other correspondence. Prepare presentations, reports, spreadsheets and other documents. Maintain database information.
Arrange and manages the travel for the team assigned, which includes managing the travel authorization process as well as researching and booking hotel, transportation, flights, and meeting requirements. Develop and communicate detailed itineraries and make necessary changes as required. This requirement may also include the coordination activity for appropriate passport or VISA requirements.
Prepare and submit expense reports in an accurate and timely manner for the team assigned. Complete reconciliation of expense reports to Client statements and communicate, track, and resolve issues as necessary.
HS diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of vocation/technical training or an Associate s degree preferred.
