Desktop Support Contractor to assist in the deployment of the NCDMV Morphotrust project of upgrading the DMV Drivers License offices.

Desktop computer and peripheral support. Installs new computers, loads appropriate software, and sets up network printers for customer use. Resolves incoming requests for service and support from the DOT Service Desk for a designated area of responsibility. Uses technical expertise and understanding of business needs to evaluate and resolve IT incident and problem service desk tickets.

Has significant technical knowledge to help solve complex problems. Responsible for meeting specific service levels. Responsible for communication with customers on status of open requests. Works closely with other areas of Information Technology.
