Project Manager III (Application and Data - Business Analyst/Project Management Roles)

An IT Project manager with infrastructure and application experience in large-scale environment. Responsible for ensuring that project plans are defined and executed to achieve the business and technical objectives; Monitors progress on all key project phases and assures timely response to all issues and opportunities that can affect the project. 5+ years experience.

This experienced project manager will work with the program manager to define the project plan, estimate the work, and get buy-in to the plan and budget. The PM will lead the delivery effort across multiple technical teams, drive schedules and track status, escalate issues and risks for discussion and resolution with peers, senior business and IT leadership.

Responsibilities include:

Leading project teams and outcomes for delivering the end state solution. Assessing the requirements, pulling together the key resources for successful delivery, and coaching the team for success. Monitoring and tracking progress against the strategic and business objectives as well as scope, schedule and budget. Maintaining communication of progress and issues hindering that progress to impacted teams, end users, and business and IT stakeholders. Working with the stakeholders, and tracking against the financial and schedule baseline to achieving business results. Supporting the program management organization with status and risk mitigation options. This position is with Corporate Enterprise Business Solutions IT supporting the corporate law department for a new IT system implementation.
A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. A minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including project management. A minimum of two years experience in infrastructure deployment is preferred. Preference for experience with infrastructure and application implementations. Must have excellent communication skills; capable of focusing communications at the right level, with the right impact. Must also possess: Strong financial/cost focus: able to manage large budgets. Process oriented with a drive for overcoming hurdles. Holds self-accountable for project execution. Demonstrates a clear sense of urgency. Superior at building collaboration and teamwork.
