Job Family Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, executing and managing marketing communications activities for Siemens Industry, Inc. s(SII) Large Drive Applications - Motors, Generators and Drives (LD AP MGD) Business Unit of the Drives Technologies (DT) Division.

The Marketing Communications Specialist is a member of the SII Communications department who will help to create, develop and execute marketing communications activities, which will be strictly external communications. This person will help manage the relationship between the communications department and the Division s industry, product and marketing management, field sales organization, channel marketing and other related functions.


Key Responsibilities:
The Marketing Communications Specialist will assist in the support, creation and implementation of marketing plans and programs for the Drive Technologies Division designed to raise awareness, drive sales and increase market share. Emphasis on web/internet presence, sales collateral, trade shows, customer meetings, sales support activities, advertising, media relations, direct mail/marketing, market research and other marketing communications tactics.
Contribute to the design preparation of all literature, creating copy, selecting graphical elements in accordance with Siemens guidelines.
Assist in the preparation of case studies, application articles, and other collateral pieces.
Liaise with central support functions (Internal Communications, PR, Trade Shows, Graphic designers) as needed to obtain support or collaboration.
As needed, assist in the preparation of print or online advertising materials.
Assist in the maintenance of the LD P Website.
Assist in the preparation of routine reports and various documents to measure the success of the marketing communications output.
Help manage and monitor marketing communications activity budgets for the Marketing Communications department.
Assist BU and Division management on creating, planning and executing customer meetings and events.
Provide communications support to sales, channel and agents as required.

Knowledge and Experience:
Knowledge and experience in the industrial marketplace is preferred. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. 3+ years experience in B2B Marketing Communications required.

Education:
Bachelor s degree studies in business communications, journalism, PR or marketing.
