Reason for opening role and the length of assignment (any extension or FTE potential?) –I am going on maternity leave the week of 7/23/18 (date is still TBD) and will be out until the second or third week of January 2019. There is the potential for extension or FTE status, but that would most likely be to fill another role.

Symantec is looking for an exceptional and experienced individual to take on this crucial growth role and join this exciting and expanding team. She or he will jointly define best in class processes to streamline our digital performance marketing programs and operations.
We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable interacting and collaborating cross functionally within and outside of ecommerce and has a background in performance and online marketing.
Global Product and Campaign launches: In this role, the candidate will work closely with internal Affiliate and external teams to help support global product and campaign launches. The candidate will be instrumental in executing the processes unique to the Affiliate and Digital channels with efficiency and accuracy. This includes working with cross-functional teams to ensure channel requirements are communicated and received by required deadlines, developing and consolidating partner assets, setting up, executing and monitoring tests to gauge performance, updating landing page assets with price changes and promos as necessary, maintianing the global promotional calendar, product feed and other associated assets, and maintaning partner and network communciation .
Performance Marketing Operations: In this role the candidate will support our Affiliate channel, with an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams including Pricing, Research & Insights, Analytics and Finance. The emphasis will be on the necessary day to day operations to make the channel a success. The candidate will be responsible for JIRA ticket submisison and management, purchase order creation and tracking, maintaining compliance documents, ad hoc reporting and vetting of new affiliates from the partner team.
Optimization and Testing: The candidate will work with primary stakeholders to execute and monitor landing page, price, conversion funnel tests set up through the Bounce Exchange platform. Communicate testing and results to affiliate partners, networks and cross-functional teams as needed. At times, the creation of assets maybe required.
Platform Troubleshooting/QA: Work with revenue accounting teams, pricing and many major funtions within eCommerce to ensure business is tracking correctly. QA all links and deals and work with partnership stakeholders to work through onboarding issues, revenue receiving issues as well as reporting issues to help support the performance marketing business.
Soft skills: This position will require strong communication, problem solving and managerial skills to interface with cross-functional teams as well as agencies to support partner and demand generation business. The Performance and Digital Marketing Specialist should be able to navigate political and business structure of cross functional teams and be able to effectively manage conflict and maintain professional composure at all times.
The Performance and Digital Marketing Specialist should also be comfortable working effectively with Executive/Senior levels of management to influence decisions on the accounts, while demonstrating leadership skills within accounts and peer group.
3 - 4 years performance and online marketing experience (Affiliate Marketing experience a big plus)
Education: BA/BS. Landing page testing, cart recovery and optimization experience (Bounce Exchange experience a plus)
Photoshop / graphic design a plus
High energy and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
Highly analytical, yet creative, detail oriented, organized, good team player
Strong influencer with ablity to communicate plans and objectives
Project management and problem solving skills
Experience in vendor or agency management
Experienced with web analytics tools (QlikView a plus)
Proficient user of excel and good with data/analytics
Understanding of how users interact with websites and how to maximize effectiveness
Understanding of cookie tracking methodology and pixel tracking
