Job Description:
• Serve as a single point of contact from Cognizant to the customer for that specific Cluster of Apps
• The Tech Lead is a Team Lead experienced in managing teams of 20+ employees.
• Strong Technical knowledge and Hands-on expertise
• Should work on Incidents, Service requests, Coach offshore and guide them.
• Strong Analytical skills and should be driving the team during crisis to ensure application availability/stability
• Experience in managing small projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with ease with business customers on a daily basis and to negotiate and interact with Business stakeholders on any critical application issues, impact , demand management & prioritization
• Possess good estimation methodology and validate estimates done by the team
• App coordinator in addition should have prior experience in demand/capacity management and be very vocal during discussing ideas/options with Business customer.
• Works with Business owner and Business Analyst to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications
• Need to understand the big picture of the application interactions to provide better solution in all work streams (Maintenance and Support).
• Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the application
• Develop system specifications and interfaces for complex components
• Provide primary support toward installation of application releases into production as directed
• Advise on project technical specifications, solution designs, code and test case reviews.
• Monitor service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status
• Advise on critical Break-fix, code and test case reviews.
• Perform audits and initiate service improvements through standard operating procedures
• Need to drive P1/P2 calls from onsite and ensure that the knowledge is transitioned to offshore.
