Client looking for a .NET Programmer Analyst with strong experience working in an Agile environment for a contract position with one of our clients in Washington, DC – Manager will require an onsite, face to face interview – so candidates must be local to the area. Candidates must have strong experience working with .Net, SQL Server, TFS, Agile, Entity Frameworks, MVC, and either Angular.js or Knockout to be considered

The .NET Developer serves as an expert of .NET technology, working on a variety of web applications hosted both internally and, in the cloud, and is responsible for maintaining and improving mission-critical public-facing software solutions. The position works closely with the business project management office to reduce the backlog of bug/fixes and enhancements for .NET applications. The position will have a dual reporting relationship. The business PMO lead will prioritize its work and Sr .NET Developer will provide oversight.

-Bachelors degree in a technical discipline, such as Computer Science or Information Systems, with 6-8 years of experience. Masters degree is a plus.
-Demonstrated success using Agile development methodology and working in Scrum environment
-Must be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
-In-depth understanding of object-oriented concepts, development principles, and design patterns
-Strong hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft .NET stack, including: C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, web services, XML, JSON, Web Forms, MVC, MVVM, WebAPI, JavaScript, MSMQ, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
-Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) fundamentals

-Experience with large-scale web applications involving Message Bus (e.g., nServiceBus), Single-Sign On (e.g., Okta), Knockout, AngularJS, and/or Bootstrap is a big plus
-Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint is a plus

-Manage development projects and complete development activities in a timely manner, with quality
-Work closely with the business to understand requirements
-Design, development, and support of complex mission-critical customer-facing applications written using .NET framework, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
-Support, maintain and document software functionality.
-Integration design and development.
-Performance improvement, balancing, usability, and automation.
-Code analysis, requirements analysis, risk analysis.
-Release management and support, as required.
