The Admin Assist - Sales Support role will provide sales and customer care support administration duties to the divisions of NRG location in the Buffalo, NY office, which include NRG Curtailment Solutions, Inc., NRG Advisory Services, Inc. and BidURenergy, Inc.

This role will be responsible for performing administrative duties as follows, as well as additional responsibilities as assigned:
• Create new enrollments and revenue projections tailored to specific prospects
• Use excel and ACT! to track various performance measures of the sales force
• Maintain CRM database by verifying and improving information on accounts
• Assist in the coordination of payment preparation and execution
• Utilize mass e-mail system to communicate with customers
• Formulate action plan and assign closing accounts in some instances
• Create sales and customer care reports
• Prospect and do various research projects

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while still meeting deadlines.
• Organized, task-oriented, and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment while being a self-starter with minimal supervision
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Must maintain a high level of knowledge about electric markets and our programs and services
• Will be required to perform additional duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Minimum Requirements
• Associate's degree in business, communications or a related field. In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in working in sales or administrative support may be considered.
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to be detail and task oriented.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both individually and in a team setting

Preferred Requirements
• Previous experience in the energy industry
• Previous experience working in a sales environment
