Description/Comment:Bill Rate: $45/hour

The Systems Analyst/Requirements Engineer will elicit, document, and assist in decomposing requirements for a large-scale software development program using structured development methodologies. Candidate will work directly with users and customer representatives to assist users with and clarifying business process elements, system requirements, and user software requirements. The candidate will create use cases and sets of requirements for various functional components, correlating them and documenting them. The candidate will work with the lifecycle teams to analyze, decompose, further clarify, and publish the use cases and requirements set. The candidate will
• Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle in areas of requirements, scope changes, and documentation of requirements and use cases.
• Lead requirements meetings and prepare briefings as necessary.
• Support the development team through the requirements and design phase, development code and unit test phase
• Support the System Testing team as a peer reviewer for test cases and requirements traceability

Additional Job Details:The following are the basic qualifications for this position: • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business) • 1 years experience in systems analysis/requirements, lifecycle, and/or project management • Recent experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio • Must be a U.S. Citizen The following are the preferred qualifications for this position: • Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders -- collaborating with the Configuration Management, Development and System Test teams and corresponding with business representatives • In-depth knowledge of software systems lifecycle requirements/processes including Agile and Iterative development methodologies • Experience with developing Use Cases and applying change control management to Use Cases and associated requirements • Experience with researching functionality in a large complex system to recommend solutions for system defects • Experience with maintaining a large set of requirements and managing requirements baseline for releases • Experience with developing System Level/Software level requirement statements or Requirement Specifications for software applications and internal/external interfaces • Strong communication and documentation skills • Experience with an automated requirement management tool (Quality Center is preferred)
