Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Sr. ABAP (SAP Interface) Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Eagan, MN.
Put your years of experience into a future of excellence... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's team supporting the US Government Client. This is a contract to provide US Government Client Information Technology with professional, technical and support services to support the application development, database production support, help desk administration, LAN administration and various requirements for distributed technical support throughout the US Government Client enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting, designing and developing SAP HR solutions using ABAP, Web DynPro ABAP, Adobe Interactive Forms, Workflow and Business Server Pages (BSP) in an Agile Development.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for technical program definition, design, coding, unit testing, technical documentation, and walkthroughs for all assigned SAP related projects to support US Government Client business and operational needs.
Design, code, test, debug complex ABAP programming including RICEF, Adobe forms, ABAP Web Dynpro, Object Oriented programming, BSP, Interfaces and Workflow per specification and guidelines with minimal guidance
Develop Interfaces using SOA based Web Services REST, SOAP etc... Use of BAPI, ALE, RFC and Web Services

Develop custom modules within SAP using ABAP and other related tools. May include responsibilities for SAP NetWeaver platform applications for integrating business processes across various systems, databases, and sources.
Effectively modify and integrate SAP functional modules, respond to and correct production problems.

Recommend and initiate change requests for business modules to support business rule changes and enhance system functionality as required in support tactical business.
Develop and maintain an understanding of US Government Client business needs and objectives. Translate user requirements into program code.

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience working and developing in distributed computing technologies, with 5 years of experience in system design, trouble shooting, programming in 4GL language, and interface & data conversion design and development.
Full lifecycle experience is highly desirable, with minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP, ABAP, Webdynpro, and BSP including structured programming.
Strong programming knowledge in SAP HCM modules including OM/PA, eCareer, LMS, EHS etc

Minimum 5 years’ experience in developing interfaces using ALE/IDOCs development including ABAP programming for IDOCs and IDOC customization. Has significant experience developing with IDOC (SAP Intermediate Document), Use of BAPI, ALE, RFC and Web Services
Proven programming skills with SAP software and associated programming tools: ABAP, the SAP developer’s workbench, SAPScript, Smart Forms, Adobe Life Cycle for SAP
Experience developing SOA based interfaces using SOAP or REST based Web Services Interfaces
Knowledge of object oriented programming and ABAP is required.
Must be able to obtain a Postal Sensitive Clearance (US Citizenship or Green Card status required)
Must not have travelled outside of the US for a combined period of 6 months or longer in the last 5 years
Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years
