Job Description:
MIG Welder
  • These welding positions are within a manufacturing company.
  • Safety shoes and safety glasses worn at all times. Uniforms supplied.
  • There will be a refresher and training day for all safety requirements and crane usage.
  • Turn and press knobs and buttons or enter operating instructions into computers to adjust and start welding machines
  • Set up, operate, and tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies
  • Load or feed work pieces into welding machines to join or bond components
  • Correct problems by adjusting controls or by stopping machines and opening holding devices.
  • Inspect, measure, or test completed metal work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring and testing devices
  • Read blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of Mig welding experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Sub-Arc welding experience a plus.
  • Any Machining experience a plus.
