Northrop Grumman is seeking a Network Specialist with VPN Experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Raleigh, NC and is an on-site position with no telecommute possibilities. You will join the team as part of the ETS Contract supporting the United States Postal Service, bringing top of the line professional technologists to their teams.

This position is responsible for supporting Cisco VPN services at layer 2 and layer 3, Cisco ASA/Client, 2-factor authentication operations, and Microsoft Systems. You will interface with senior-level management and its vendors' technical personnel. The team interacts remotely with field members and local network engineers to diagnose VPN issues and 2-factory authentication issues on site according to national policies and guidelines. This individual shall perform enterprise-level network troubleshooting, propose enhancements to improve performance and reduce costs of maintaining a compliant network.

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Experience with the configuration, deployment and support of Cisco ASA, Client, routing, switching and 802.11.
• Experience troubleshooting Cisco VPN services at layer 2 and layer 3.
• Experience deploying VPN networking equipment in a large Enterprise.
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools in a large Enterprise.
• Experience with incident and change review system in a large Enterprise.
• Experience with administration and troubleshooting Windows operating systems (client/server) in a large Enterprise.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory in a large Enterprise.
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.
• Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• CCNA Certified – Highly desired.
• CCNP Certified
• Experience with RADIUS and 2-Factor Authentication (Entrust).
• Windows 2012 Server Experience.
• Active Directory Experience.
