US Citizenship is required.

Candidate will perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties that requires the use of computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials and prepares materials for shipment. Visually inspect and verify quantity, weight and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items into systems, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes material to destinations and addresses damaged goods with the buyer and carrier. Good communication skills required for interaction with buyers and customers.

Knowledge
Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job. Knowledge of mechanical equipment and the ability to operate forklift and other material movement equipment. Knowledge of hazardous material and law. SAP knowledge a plus.

Supervision Given and Received
Immediate Close supervision involving detailed verbal and written instructions. General supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.

Typical Duties and Tasks
Duties & tasks are varied but standardized. Performs some more advanced functions. Assists more senior staff members with routine tasks. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex questions to higher levels.

Typical Education / Experience
AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 0 years experience. Will consider years of experience in lieu of degree.
