Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a C# Microsoft Asp.Net Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Merrifield, Va.
Where Technology and Teamwork come together... The qualified applicants will become part of Northrop Grumman's Postal Services and Solutions group. This is a contract to provide US Government Client Information Technology with professional, technical and support services to support the application development, database production support, help desk administration, LAN administration and various requirements for distributed technical support throughout the US Government Client enterprise.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop on multi-tier Web Application (Microsoft ASP.NET MVC / MS SQL Back-end)
Provide strong analysis and design skills for multi-tier architecture
Participate perform multiple enhancements and/or new functionality to applications.
Strong Analysis and Design skills for multi-tier architecture - Windows OS
Backup lead developer and provide support in lead developer's absence.
Learn and understand overall system to provide customer support and be backup for Lead developer
Provide Weekly task/project status reports, Monthly work-hour accounting reports and work accomplished reports and Formal analysis reports, (as assigned).

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or other related discipline, 4 additional years of work related experience can substitute for a degree.
Proficient in Visual Studio v10 and above.
At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Asp.Net., C#
Experience with Microsoft SQL
Experience with Windows event logging
Must be a self-starter.
Must have strong analytical skills.
Proven ability to quickly learn and understand applications
Ability to lead application and provide direct customer support
Be able to communicate in oral and written English language, at a level of complexity appropriate to the audience (customers, technical staff, management, etc..)
Must be able to obtain a Postal Sensitive Clearance (US Citizenship or Green Card status required); and has not travelled outside of the US for a period of 6 months or longer within the past 5 years

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) 5.0 would be a plus.
Experience with XML
Experience HTML/JavaScript.
Experience with Subversion
Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services
Experience with Microsoft Integration Service Services
