This position is supporting Front Office Technology, previously GBSI, responsible for maintaining systems involved in the collection and distribution of analyst research. This position is seeking a resource to assist with the development of custom MS Office Add-ins for Word and Excel. The team consists of 8-10 software engineers. The best candidate would have experience with MS word templates (including the libraries listed in the additional job details below). Critical Skills: Candidate should be adept at working in a team environment and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Most jobs require a minimum of a bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related discipline. Office-Add in development experience. Sr. Level contractor (no less than 3-5 years of experience working in a corporate environment).This position requires a resource who can hit the ground running to work on a time-sensitive project, requiring little ramp up, through September. Project Scope: Adding municipal research to support additional authoring of 2 new templates to be created. Analysts are currently authoring in a system that requires decommissioning prior to September. This resource will support this project along with other resources, however this project will be the primary focus as the management team is looking for a committed resource through the full duration of the assignment. At the successful completion of this project, there are potential projects the resource could transition to if the resource is also able to come with AWS Cloud experience/SQL Server experience/Responsive Web Design and Development experience. The manager is looking to fill this position as soon as possible. Interview Style: Phone Screening and move to a F2F with additional team members. Looking to fill this need immediately.
