Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking an individual with communications and customer support skills to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Mclean Virginia.

The qualified applicant will be working with Northrop Grumman's MedDRA MSSO (Maintenance and Support Services Organization), which is on its 18th year of maintaining a medical terminology used globally by health authorities and the biopharmaceutical industry.

MedDRA (Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities) is a medical terminology used to classify adverse event information associated with the use of biopharmaceuticals and other medical products (e.g., medical devices and vaccines). The MSSO serves as the repository, maintainer, and distributor of MedDRA as well as the source for the most up-to-date information regarding MedDRA. The MSSO is seeking a detailed oriented individual that has excellent communication and customer support skills to work on our customer operations team. This position requires working independently and being able to quickly understand MSSO business process to facilitate customer support tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide customer support via telephone and email by competently answering questions in a professional manner related to the MedDRA project or properly referring the question to the right person on the project
• Entering calls into a tracking system and following up to ensuring the person assigned to answer the question has done so
• Learn and understand the MSSO business process, workflow, and tools
• Work with the customer relationship management workflow system to assist with setting up new subscriptions
• Assist with logistics of MSSO trade show and the MedDRA user group meetings as directed
• Prioritize workloads to meet deadlines

Additional Job Details:Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: • 2 to 3 years working performing customer support tasks • Been in a position requiring good written and oral communication skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, i.e., Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet • Ability to work independently to perform research in a variety of areas as determined by project need Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: • College degree in Communications or English a plus • Knowledge building and maintaining queries in SQL in Microsoft Access
