Must Have Skills: BA with investment Banking and accounting experience..
1. Extensive experience (7+ years) as a Business Analyst for a large financial institution in defining and implementing technology solutions
• Extensive experience in gathering business requirements and developing functional specifications with special emphasis on use cases, review of test scenarios, test cases and providing user training, application demo and support

2. Extensive experience with various system development lifecycle methodologies and tailoring the artifacts to those methodologies

Nice to have skills:
1. Investment Banking experience –Experience
2. Loan operations
3. A strong understanding of accounting systems with deep knowledge of at least one of the following areas: lending operations, alternate assets, financial products, accounting for loans and equity products
4. Proficiency in the Investment Lifecycle for Equity Investments and Private Equity Funds
5. Knowledge of one of investment accounting tools (e.g. Investran)
6. Experience in HP – ALM for documenting Requirements and defect management

Job Roles / Responsibilities:
1. Interface with the business client to understand business needs and requirements, and to help develop and maintain the client relationship
2. Ability to work directly with clients and management without supervision and to facilitate and navigate discussions with stakeholders to ensure clarity, prioritization, and consensus
3. Develop business cases, requirements, use cases, test plans, test strategies, test cases, and operational procedures and plans
4. Document business processes and workflows
5. Craft business cases to evaluate the feasibility of technology initiatives
6. Identify business and functional requirements by working with application end-users, and lead the collection, analysis, documentation, and coordination of those requirements
7. Design and execute test cases for application development and implementation projects
8. Collaborate with IT professionals to determine if solutions currently exist (internally or externally) or whether new solutions are feasible to meet business requirements
9. Maintain a comprehensive chronological trail of requirements and agreements and actively contribute to the project change control process.
10. Coordinate the UAT by collaborating with the business users
