Project Description Role Skill Set & Experience
​The Information Delivery (ID) team provides transformative data capabilities and solutions that serve as the core data, reporting, and analytics platform for the Insurance & Agency Group at New York Life (NYL).
The Project Manager is responsible for bringing all the stakeholders together for conforming the data in the HUB.
The Project Manager will possess the necessary minimal technical skills required for supporting and accomplishing the co-ordinating efforts.
Technical Project Manager ​7+ years in Project Management managing large to very large data integration projects. Tech Savvy and able to understand technical terms used during discussions. Knowledge of Data HUB,Data Lake,Big data is a must. Work independently with minor oversight. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary .Life insurance experience is a plus. Demonstrated time management skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with daily work processing deadlines. Agile IT Project Management experience is a must. Data projects experience is a must.

Program Manager ​Typically 10+ years total experience5+ years PM experience AND 3+ years Program Management experience. Has been accountable for programs and sub-projects of $1M+
Leads defining/ helping define strategy and roadmap for overall Adobe Migration from Vignette
Provide inputs on practical execution of the roadmap i.e. sequence / deliver with agile vs TDLC etc
Resource planning (capacity vs demand ) across various workstreams
Vendor management – ability to work closely with the vendors and review SOW's , delivery and financial aspects .
Program Governance and Communication plan , Stakeholder management
Integrate / help define the process's . Work closely with Business, BRM , Portfolio manager and the BA, Dev, QA teams to adapt to (and tweak as required) OBIO processes & methodology and provide continuous improvements
End to end status reporting , RAIDS management . Keep everyone informed about the RAIDS at all times and escalate at the right time.
Ability to push back on essentials (for e.g. if things have to be done – then be assertive – seek the involvement of right stakeholders etc.).Should have executed large programs / projects and managed high budgets. We keep moving money btw different buckets – hence the Program manager should be proactive in assessing the program state at any given time to make the adjustments. Will be managing different workstream project managers at some point in 2018. Hence must be able to manage the interdependencies and ensure consistencies across the plans and different deliverables.
