NM - Ultrasound/Vascular/Echo Tech

Location: Portales, New Mexico
Perform ultrasound imaging procedures and produce high quality diagnostic imaging. Maintain consistent knowledge and skill levels to meet diagnostic evaluation expectations. Complete documentation of all activities according to established criteria. Adhere to department policies & procedures regarding quality improvement, safety, patient flow, and other issues. Communicate and collaborate with other radiology staff and other departmental staff to facilitate optimum patient care. Participate in training programs to develop additional skills and/or enhance existing skills. Obtain & maintain appropriate licensure and certification for ultrasound and vascular.
Core duties and responsibilities for Vascular include the following. Other duties may be assigned
• Carotid Ultrasound
• PVR/Segmental
• Venous Doppler
• Venous Mapping
• Abdominal Aorta Duplex
• Arterial imaging and some echocardiograms using GE/Toshiba equipment
Core requirement for Echo include minimum 3 years experience with adult echo. National certification preferred. RDCS or equivalent required.
