SQL Developer

SQL Server Developer will work as part of the FACS team in the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) – Enterprise Business Technology (EBT) – Financial System Technology (FST) group to support the Financial Accounting Control System (FACS). The successful candidate must be client focused as a senior developer that will require the interpretation and analysis of the business requirements to assist with the design, development and delivery of a technology solutions that meets the needs of the end users while maintaining compliance with Wells Fargo change management processes and procedures. The developer will also have support duties on occasions and/or after hours support as needed.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of ETL / Data Warehouse experience
• 5+ years MS SQL Server experience; e.g. DDL, TSQL, Stored Procedures, Functions
• 3+ years MS SQL Database Administration; e.g. index, partitioning, execution plan analysis
• 3+ years SDLC knowledgeable.
• Kimball Methodology, Star Schemas, Slowly changing dimensions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• The ability to work in a multi-tasking team environment. This role supports multiple in-flight development projects at the same time.
• Ability to analyze and document system recommendations and changes.

Preferred Skills:
• 1+ years Autosys, UNIX shell scripting.
• 1+ years Informatica Power Center development.
• 1 + year of SQL Server SSIS, SSRS and SSAS experience
• 3+ years MS Team Foundation Server (TFS), or similar version control software
• Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCMCSD, MCAD)
• BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
• Financial industry experience is desirable, especially in the finance / product control / middle office domain. Accounting knowledge also a big plus.
• Ability to analyze and document system recommendations and changes.
• Basic project management abilities. Able to work within a large project plan and able to manage own tasks and time.
