What you will be doing:
Responsibilities
Mentor, support, develop, and educate each of the team roles on specific duties
Promote empowerment of the team
Encourage a sustainable pace with high level of quality
Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment
Own the Retrospective and outcomes, the team metrics, and facilitation where required for decision making and conflict resolution
Guards and shields the team from distractions and interruptions
Close collaboration with the Product Owner ensuring backlog is properly refined and ready for development
Support and guide the team to remove impediments
Support and guide the team to expand their ownership for all things affecting the team's success
Encourage collaboration across Scrum Team and stakeholders
Monitor all Agile artifacts, ensure up-to-date and visible to anyone
Ensure transparency through internal and external communication
Lead the building of a trusting and safe environment with a judgement free forward looking, collaborative and upbeat mindset
Support the Product Owner and team in the management of dependencies across business, release, third party vendors, and stakeholders
Set example by being flexible, collaborative, diplomatically neutral, and persistent when necessary
Champion a well-defined Agile process and lead ongoing process improvement initiatives to allow best practices to emerge
Ask thoughtful questions to guide teams to collaborative solutions
Take initiative to lead and grow our learning community
Supporting and maintaining metrics in the team's tools such as TFS
Partners with project and release managers in production deployment activities
Experience:
Required:
3+ years working with fast pace Agile teams at 2+ companies
Demonstrated experience in leading teams
One or more certifications
Certified Scrum Master (CSM or ICP)
Certified Scrum Professional
PMI-Agile Certified Professional
3+ years with hands-on Agile practice and techniques
User Story writing
Writing, decomposing, grooming and estimating Epics, Features, and User Stories
Agile learning drills
Choose the right metric to understand
Metric capturing, analyzing for process improvement, and tracking results trends
Team and 1:1 coaching of team members
Knowledge of TFS, JIRA, CA Rally, Version One, SharePoint/Confluence or other ADM Agile tools
Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization
Nice to have
Knowledge or certification in Agile scaling frameworks (SaFE, LeSS DA or DaD)
Experience working with distributed teams and or application development vendors
Experience or knowledge on Agile techniques: ATDD, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing Automated Testing, DevOps
