Senior Analyst Digital Analytics

The Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics provides web analytics skills and insights, solving complex business problems in the digital realm. Conceptualize, develop, and roll out analytical tools and solutions for digital business partners. Perform both detailed and high level analyses on ambiguous business questions with minimal direction. As a Senior Analyst in Digital Analytics, you will work on a highly visible, flexible, collaborative team with analysts of diverse backgrounds and skill sets to solve the most challenging problems in retail and the ever-expanding digital world.
Overall Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage digital analytics reporting to support key performance indicators for e-Commerce business, marketing and site; have expertise of data sources and data anomalies.
  • Lead development of dashboards and analysis to answer strategic questions for the business. Manage new data sources & automation of regular reporting to answer business, marketing & site questions.
  • Analyze reports, provide insights, and develop testing strategies to drive digital profitability and overall direction.
  • Influence key cross-functional business partners by delivering analyses and recommendations that support the company's strategic direction, optimal value creation.
Position Specific Job Responsibilities:
  • Support business objectives by using a variety of data sources to prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, analyses, dashboards, and solutions.
  • Work with Business partners in order to define business requirements and translate these into tracking requirements.
  • Support business users with the training and knowledge necessary in order to leverage our tools to best fit their needs.
  • Contribute to the testing and optimization program; including design and development of experiments.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Digital Marketing, Business or related field. MBA or Masters preferred.
  • 3-5 years of meaningful experience in a corporate setting with demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, or reporting background. Retail background is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working deeply with web analytics tools. Adobe Analytics is a plus.
  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work in a cross functional environment and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills. Can express complex ideas in simple terms

Experience with Adobe, Google Analytics, & Web Analytics. Ability to have face to face interaction with key business stakeholders. Being able to influence people and set strategic direction for the company.

What are the nice-to-have skills?
Experience with segmentation, customer pathing, site catalyst, omniture. A Master's degree is a nice to have but would be helpful.
