Job Description
Client is seeking a PMP Certified Project Manager for a Marketing and Sales project for our major transit client in Washington, DC for a 12 months+ contract opportunity.

The Project Manager (Mid) is responsible for accomplishing project objectives by planning, evaluating and executing project activities. The role requires in-depth knowledge of Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and resource will need to follow the clients ADM methodology for documentations and various phase gate checks. The candidate shall have understanding of Agile methodology and terminologies used in Agile project execution.

-Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification -Build strong relationships within Client Portfolio leads to understand the business challenges and opportunities -Developing project plans, goals, and budgets; identifying resources needed -Developing schedules and methods for measuring results.
-Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project -Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion -Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities -Preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products -Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications -Create a collaborative partnership among project and program leaders and enables workforce development, change management, and planning decisions -Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions -Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
