Informatica Lead

Responsibilities:
  • Establish, maintain and enforce ETL architecture design principles, techniques, standards and best practices.
  • Drive the technical design of ETL reference architecture to ensure high data quality, data integration performance and error recovery/handling.
  • Review and assess existing ETL applications, to support new features, performance improvements, upgrades, and ongoing sustainment
  • Installing and configuring Informatica components, including highly available grid environment; managing server activations and de-activations for all environments; ensuring that all systems and procedures adhere to organizational best practices
  • Support on-going ETL environment and support during maintenance or failure
  • Work closely with Linux admins/ network teams and oracle Sys DBA's on operational failures and triage issues.
  • Performances tune the workflows on Informatica 9.6 platform as part of the upgrade and development.
  • Collaborate with Business, to understand business requirements, data, and optimize ETL performance.
  • Manage and prioritize enhancements activity by closely working with business and provide regular status reporting
Required Skill
  • Senior ETL architect, admin and developer with good experience in Design and Development of data integration components in Informatica.
  • Develop complex ETL mappings on Informatica 9.x platform
  • Lead team of ETL developers of varying experience levels in building and supporting ETL processes for systems.
  • Develop and deploy utilities on Informatica 9.x platform that assist in the daily maintenance of the ETL platform and automation of the jobs.
  • Peer Review and Participate in activities that ensure the successful use of these systems including: developing analysis and design documentation, test scripts etc
  • Participate and provide required architectural suggestions in performance, load, and stress testing, and remediation of issues identified
  • Develop Oracle SQL/PLSQL's and Shell scripts.
  • Support, monitor and perform required data analysis based on the ETL failure or business queries
  • Experience in onshore – offshore model
