Enterprise Architect – Data and Analytics

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree plus 10 years of experience OR Master Degree plus 8 years of experience. Experience in large corporate environment with a complex architecture, including large ERP footprint.
• 2+ years working as Enterprise / Solution Architect in an architecture team.
• Experience developing 3-5 year roadmaps of the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from current to future state.
• Strong leadership, teamworking, verbal, written and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to influence strategic direction of senior leadership
• Ability to form relationships and partner effectively with IT and business stakeholders
• Proven work experience in many areas such as:
o Dimensional data modeling
o Relational database platforms
o Transactional and Analytical data use cases
o Row-oriented and column-oriented in memory database technologies
o Data marts, data warehouses, data federation and data virtualization
o Reporting and visualization tools
o Advanced analytic tools and concepts
o ETL technologies such as SAP Data Services
o Data Governance and Data Quality
• Possess knowledge on leading edge concepts in technology such as Big Data, SOA, IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Virtualization, Containers, Information Security, Cloud Computing, Mobile.
• Understand SAP Core ERP Structures, Technologies and Processes
Preferred:
• Working knowledge of systems architectural concepts and frameworks like TOGAF preferred.
• Experience in:
o Big Data
o Next-generation database technologies including NoSQL, Graph and Object-oriented
o XML, JSON, Apache Parquet and Avro file formats
o Hadoop distributions
o Enterprise Data cataloging
o Self-Service Analytics concepts
o Metadata management, master data management, data semantics, data integration

Responsibilities
  • Understand the strategic business needs of the company and industry trends in order to lead the development of business capability "North Stars” Destination Architectures, Reference Architectures (with EOS, EOM Doomsday and Refresh cycles), Architectural Standards and Usage guidelines will be created to enable delivery capabilities.
  • Proactively monitor the strategic direction of technology, market trends and Solution Vendors, and determine their potential impact and value to the enterprise. And provide innovation for the specific architecture domain. Includes research and proof-of-concepts to assess new capabilities. Also work across architecture domains to innovate on capabilities and solutions across the enterprise (Cloud, Mobility, Integration, etc.)
  • Develop and communicate Architecture Roadmaps in conjunction with business process partners and strategy teams. 1. Lead 3 to 5-year technology planning based on Business Strategies and Architecture Roadmaps.
  • Organize and conduct regular meetings of the Technology Review Board to jointly evaluate, establish, publish and refresh the standards as needed as well as review requests from projects wishing to change published standards.
  • Maintain relevant application lifecycle plans within portfolio to identify, monitor, publish and educate appropriate times to rehost, refactor, revise, replatform, rebuild or replace and lead identification of assets or services that can be re-used by the project teams to drive consistency, cost reduction, and increases speed to market within the specific architecture domain.
  • Participate in Architecture Review Board for Architecture Governance across architecture domains.
  • Other duties as needed
